Introduction to the HIE Portal
The HIE Portal is the primary tool used to access information available through healthEconnect Alaska’s Health Information Exchange (HIE). Before learning about specific workflows and features, it is important to become familiar with the Portal’s layout, navigation, and core functionality.
In this module, you will be introduced to the basic components of the HIE Portal, including how to navigate the interface, locate patient information, and access commonly used tools. These foundational concepts will help prepare you for the additional training modules that follow.
